'Πόλεμο του Ολύμπου. book one
i'm waking up at the start of the end of the world

Δ The Olympians and their demigod children are no strangers to war, conflict, anger, hardship, or fear. But the bad blood between brothers, Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon, has run into the hearts of the other Olympians. After multiple halfbloods have been mysteriously killed, the other gods are pointing fingers at each other. Suspected murderers are Ares, god of war, Athena, goddess of wisdom, and every god or goddess who holds a throne on Mount Olympus. Demigod children at Camp Half Blood have taken sides, as well. Those who once called themselves a family are killing each other and bickering constantly. The year is 2053, the year the world is supposed to end. Natural disasters are occurring because of the Gods. All the mortals could do was diagnose these strange occurrences as the end.

As hatred ignites into the hearts of demigods and gods alike, if they let it, the end truly could be approaching. The Oracle at Camp Half Blood  has offered no help. Nightmares are creeping into the minds of mortals and halfbloods, bringing visions of the world blossoming into a living hell. Olympus is at war. Which side will you choose?

Ω rules,
» Follow all of J4T's rules, role-playing and general-wise.
» Characters should look and act realistically. No bright pink hair and rainbow eyes.
» I'd appreciate if you used decent grammar & spelling. You should use at least 3 lines of good, detailed sentences. No text speak, either.
» Technology is not allowed at Camp Half Blood. No cellphones, computers, or I-Pods.
» Don't reserve posts for your forms. Just take your time, fill out the form entirely, and submit it. No saying 'I'l fill this out soon'. If your form is incomplete, put into a word document and go back to it and finish it later.
» No controlling other people's characters. If you get into a fight, it should be fair. No blasting the other with lightning, killing them, as soon as the fight starts.

Re: [war of olympus] -'Πόλεμο του oλύμπου.

Post by jess on Wed Jun 27, 2012 1:15 pm

Great role-play!!!

-Form-
Name (Full): Elisa (Eli) Mowren
Gender: Female
Age: 15
Personality: Elisa has always been the shy, hiding in the shadows, type of person. But that was the past. She decided recently that she had to do something with her life...fast. She thought that going to school in the city would give her some friends, but when she finally started going, everyone just got jealous of her looks. That is, everyone except for the boys. For she was born with genuine beauty......she had no idea why someone as shy as her would be cursed with such a pretty feminine face. She wished she had a mother figure to talk to, but her father always told her that her mother had died during the operation of which Elisa was born.
Description: Elisa has black hair, with long wavy, wavy locks that go down all the way to her waist. Her face is pale white, but with just a hint of rosy cheeks. Her cheekbones are high, and her face is well shaped. Her lips are thin and red like a rose. Her nose is straight and beautiful. Her eyes are the most gorgeous of all of her...she has sparkling green eyes, with dark black eyelashes that look perfect without any makeup on at all.
Godly Parent: Aphrodite
History/Family: Elisa has always felt left out of her family. Her two older sisters, Marion and Clarisse, had been born from a different mother than Elisa's...so she always felt slightly different. Her father worked from evening to morning, on the night shift, so she was left alone with her two sisters. Marion and Clarisse commonly spent time together, usually having several friends over for the night...which usually included boys too. She would always hide away in her room and paint...her one talent. Art.
Weapon: Long, curved, sword with a golden hilt. A single red ruby is placed in the base of the hilt.
Other: While in the process of running away from her lonely home, she was introduced to Camp Half Blood. Being a few years above the age that kids were usually brought into camp...she is already behind by several years in training.

cabins.

Post by Guest on Wed Jun 26, 2013 8:13 pm

War of Olympus. book one
i believe the world is burning to the ground.
oh well, i guess, we're gonna find out.

Ω cabins,

Cabin 1- Zeus. Children of Zeus reside in the biggest cabin in Camp, one which resembles a bank. There are not too many halfbloods that belong to the king of Olympus. Most are able to summon lightning or thunder, however, it drains their power immensely. They possess the ability to fly, summon storms, and can withstand being shocked by lightning. Naturally born as leaders, natural fighters, children of Zeus are often self-centered and hard to get along with.

Cabin 2- Hera. Being the goddess of marriage and family, Hera never mingled with mortals, and has never had any halfblood children.

Cabin 3- Poseidon. Children of the Sea God reside in a large cabin that appears to be made of coral, with a permanent smell of sea salt. There are only a few halfbloods that have been claimed by Poseidon, as one of the Big Three. Children of the God can control water, breathe underwater for extreme amounts of time, dive down for several thousand feet without dying under the pressure, and can be healed by the water.

Cabin 4- Demeter. Children of the beautiful Goddess of springtime live in a cabin covered in live plants that are always ripe. When children of the Goddess walk by plants that are dead, the plants will perk up. Her offspring can control plants, making them grow or die to their will. Most are natural cooks, and are relatively good at making medicine to heal. Children of Demeter can turn opponent's weapons into daisies and flowers.

Cabin 5- Ares. Children of the War God reside in a barn-like cabin painted bloody red, with a dead, stuffed boar head hanging above the door as a warning to others. There are landmines scattered on the lawn that it rests on, which only the Ares cabin members know how to avoid. All children are advanced in the art of fighting, and are very strong, swift, and more. If they're lucky, in a war, their father might grant them sudden strength, and will be invulnerable for a few minutes. In this period of time, they can turn their opponents' weapons to rubber.

Cabin 6- Athena. Children of the Goddess of Wisdom live in a simple gray cabin with white curtains, an owl painted above the door. Bunks are pushed into the corner, most of the inside is occupied by maps, bookshelves, and computerized Smart Boards. Natural born weavers, with extreme wisdom. They are the ones to go to if you need a strategy or plan of any kind. Children of Athena are usually experts in hand-to-hand combat.

Cabin 7- Apollo. Children of the God of Sun live in a simple looking cabin, however, when looked at just right, it appears as though it is made of solid gold. Children of Apollo can sometimes heal by singing a song, though they must say a prayer to their father for more strength. Experts in archery, they are also expert musicians. It's very, very rare, but some children of the Sun God can control the light to their will.

Cabin 8- Artemis. Goddess of the Hunt, Artemis never had any children, and was an eternal maiden. She does, however, have her Hunters. Young girls blessed with immortality and amazing skill with a bow and arrow. When the Hunters visit camp, which is rare, they reside in a cabin which glows silver, like it was drenched in moonlight.

Cabin 9- Hephaestus. Children of the God of Fire live in a cabin which looks like an RV. Packed full of gears and tools on the inside, beneath are tunnels, which the children of the Blacksmith God have been digging for centuries. The beds can go down into their own secret rooms at the press of a button. Children of Hephaestus are naturally gifted in algebra, and can turn a piece of metal into just about anything. Although incredibly rare, some children can create fire, and are fire-proof.

Cabin 10- Aphrodite. Children of the Goddess of Love reside in a real-life barbie house, the smell of every perfume you can think of lingering in the air. All children of the Beauty Goddess are naturally beautiful, some would even call them perfect. Though, they're definitely the dumbest. Almost none of them can even pick up a weapon, let alone battle, as they're all too busy looking in a mirror. Very self absorbed. However, some have the ability to use charmspeak, which is the practice of using words and having others do whatever you say. They can all speak fluent french.

Cabin 11- Hermes. A simple cabin painted cocoa brown is where the children of the God of Travel reside. Children of the friendly God are naturally very fast, and are able to get themselves in and out of trouble quickly. Upturned eyebrows and mischievous smiles, some can pick a lock with just their minds. Any unclaimed halfbloods can stay the night in the Hermes' cabin, as all of them are very friendly.

Cabin 12- Dionysus. The God of Wine's cabin is painted a deep violet, with grape vines on the roof and walls. Dionysus never had many children, however, the few children he did have can control vines of fruit. Like children of Demeter, plants go crazy when one walks by. Although very rare, some children of the Wine God can make others go crazy for short times. By snapping their fingers, their enemies can go into mental breakdowns.

Cabin 13- Hades. The God of the Dead's cabin is painted pitch black, with green torches on either side of the door. A skull, nobody knows if it's real or not, is hung over the doorway. His children can hold longterm grudges. All of his children can summon the dead, and make them do your bidding. Considered the Ghost Princes and Princesses,  they can sense when a person is dead. This drains their power horribly. Children of the King of the Underworld can shadow travel;; traveling long distances by bending the shadows. This can hurt the children of Hades, draining them of power.

Cabin 14- Hecate. The Goddess of Magic's cabin is built out of stone blocks, with magic curses written on them. If the stones are dropped, they will curse whoever dropped them. The children of this Goddess posses the ability to use magic. Creating fire, tracking monsters, and making shields to protect themselves are a few of their magical abilities.

Re: [war of olympus] -'Πόλεμο του oλύμπου.

Post by Guest on Fri Jun 28, 2013 8:38 am

name: Ariana Bloom

age (12-20): 14

gender: Female

looks (picture allowed): Ariana has dark brown hair, which, when hit by the sun, can look black. It flows just a few inches above her elbow, in a wavy curtain of loose curls. Like her father, she has blue eyes. Like most children of Dionysus, when Ariana is in a darker room, they'll look almost purple--the color of wine. She has a round face, with eyebrows that are a bit upturned, like she's always got something up her sleeve. Ariana has a relatively pale skin tone, the light spray of freckles across her nose the only thing that gives away that she has had contact with the sun. She has an athletic figure, from being on sports team at school.

personality: Ariana is definitely a tomboy. She absolutely despises anything girly, and is more of a tough girl. Ariana is known to have a bit of a sharp tongue, using sarcasm and rolling her eyes at anything stupid. She walks around with a bit of an 'I'm a lot better than you, dumbass', aura to her. Ariana hates the idea of having to depend on others. She tries not to have to be helped by others , in fear of becoming too attached, or having to owe them. When she's about to become close to someone, Ariana will simply talk herself out of the relationship, and run. Because of this, Ariana has developed a sort of independence-- a great pride. She's convinced herself she needs nobody, that she's just better than most people. Deep down, Ariana knows that she wants to be loved, or liked. When she finds herself thinking thoughts like those, thinking about how cute the guy over there is, or wondering how that girl got her hair to stay like that, she becomes furious with herself. Ariana is very stubborn, and refuses any sort of help. Despite of all of this, Ariana is very outgoing and loud, due to her pride and independence. She'll usually be the first to hook herself up to the harnest and go bungee jumping, or go skydiving, or anything that will give her a rush. Ariana was always getting in trouble at school for talking back to teachers, or talking when she's not supposed to. She also has ADHD and dyslexia, like most demigods, and was usually coming home with C's and D's on her reportcards.

godly parent*: Dionysus.

history: Ariana was an only child, growing up with her alcoholic mom. From a young age, Ariana realized she was somewhat alone in the world. Her mother was a big partyer when she was young. It's where her mother met Dionysus, at a party. It was a bit of a onenight stand, a drunken moment. Thus, Ariana was a drunken mistake. Once her mother had her, her mother stopped going out to parties, but was never able to put down the bottle. When Ariana would come home from school, her mother would be passed out on the couch, empty bottles of beer around. She was never abusive, never mean. Ariana just did as she was told. Ordered pizza for dinner, picked up the bottles, got the shower ready for her mom, go get the groceries. . Ariana eventually became sick of it. When she was 10, she ran away. After ordering 3 large pizzas for her mother, Ariana ran off. She would hide just about anywhere. Sheds in people's backyards, on a branch of a tree, even in sewers. Eventually, after 6 months, her mother notified the police. It wasn't hard to find Ariana, after all, there's not many girls that live in sewers. Her mother was a bit outraged. She sent Ariana away with the police, telling them to just send her somewhere else. Ariana was taken to a foster home, and attended a public middle school. She was kicked out of the school, enrolled in a new one, got kicked out, enrolled in a new one... and the process continued. At her 6th school, like most halfbloods, a protector was sent to find her. Ariana's best friend was a girl named Rosie, a satyr. When Ariana turned 12, she was attacked by hellhounds while being walked home by Rosie. They managed to escape, because some mysterious vines appeared out of nowhere and wrapped around the hellhounds legs. Rosie took Ariana to Camp Half Blood. Dionysus treated Ariana no differently than any other camper. He didn't want a child. Ariana was a result of two drunk adults who managed to find their way to a bedroom. And she was fine with it. She was furious with her dad, furious that she had been ignored by him for years, left with an alcoholic of a mom. There was nobody else in her cabin, due to Dionysus being loyal to his wife on Olympus, who ended up coming down to Camp to be the co-camp director, with her husband. Ariana's a bit embarrassed of her father. Her dad's the god of wine, and her mom's a total drunk. She thought it was a joke at first, a bit mad. Blahblahblah, Ariana's at camp now. Blahblahblah..

weapon: Ariana has two long swords that are the size of her arms. In the Mortal world, they just appear as two bracelets, one on each wrist. There's an engraving of grape vines on each of them, with a purple grip on the hilt. It was given to her by one of the Hephaestus kids, as a birthday gift. Before that, she usually used a simple dagger. Ariana still keeps the dagger on her belt, but her swords are her most used weapon.

power*: Like her father, Ariana can make grape vines shoot out and tangle her enemies. When she walks by plants, they tend to go crazy, growing at an alarmingly fast rate. She was once able to make a son of Ares go mentally insane, after getting in a fight, like most halfbloods at Camp these days. Ariana was laying on the ground, swords knocked out of her hand, with a spear pointed at her chest. She said a prayer to her dad, the only prayer she'd ever said, and the boy began screaming, getting onto his knees and putting his hands over his ears, like he meant to crush his skull in. It was an accident, of course, but the Ares cabin still hasn't forgiven her, even after she managed to give him his sanity back.

Re: [war of olympus] -'Πόλεμο του oλύμπου.

Post by jess on Mon Jul 08, 2013 1:56 pm

Φ form,
*= optional

name: Anthony DeWolfe

age (12-20): 14
gender: Male
looks (picture allowed): Grr, I drew an awesome picture that would be perfect for him but I'm too lazy to upload it. xD So he has black, spiky hair and dark gray eyes, with bold black eyelashes around them. He's not emo though...lol. Anthony wears mostly black clothes, with a black ripped glove on his right hand, and a chain around his neck. He has tan, olive skin.
personality: Anthony has always been a bit...creepy. He's always been the 'hiding in the shadows' type. At a young age he became fascinated with the undead and the afterlife. Anthony is very closed off to his emotions, except for his hatred. Which he keeps building up every single day. He's pretty quiet, but not in a shy way. Just in a 'I like to keep to myself, leave me alone' type of way. When he does talk to other people, he ends up scaring them a bit, with the way he talks...it's like stone and metal gears grinding against each other. His voice is cold and heartless. The only thing he concentrates on now is using his powers to defeat the evil side...he needs to defeat and kill something, just to keep him sane.
godly parent*: Hades, duh
history: At seven years old, Anthony was watching horror movies and researching on ghosts and the undead. He was quickly scolded for this interest, and was watched over more carefully by his parents, his mom and abusive step-dad. He sometimes sneaked onto the computer to watch more ghost videos, learn more legends and spells, but not as often as he used to. At eleven, he finally stopped hiding away so much and started making more friends and not being as creepy. He actually completely stopped being into so much witchcraft and horror, after he met Kacela Mccloud. He and Kacela became best friends, but what really lightened him up were his feelings for her. After he came to Half Blood Camp, (which he found after running away from home, as he had had enough of his cruel step-dad) however, they started to drift apart. Right about that time, Anthony's family completely shut him out of their lives, telling him to never come back. They had disowned him. He grew more and more scary by the minute after that...taking his spells into practice. Hatred boiled up, and it was clear that Half Blood Camp now had a Hades child on their hands.
weapon: A scythe PIC HERE
power*: Summoning the dead and tricking people to doing his bidding. Can sense when a person is dead. Can shadow travel. Can also raise an army of the dead.

Φ form,
*= optional

(I'm sorry...i'm so sorry but, my mom told me to do like 5 things, so I really got to go, but I promise I'll finish this today)
name: Kacela (Kace/Kacy) Mccloud

age (12-20): 14 (wow, we're gonna have like a whole league of 14 year olds)
gender: female
looks (picture allowed): Kacela has long, dark brown, curly locks that she usually hides in a loose pony tail. She has deep, Brown eyes that you feel as if you could stare into forever, and tell anything at all to those eyes. That's when she double crosses you, and uses your spilled secrets against you. She wears a lot of loose shirts that slide all over the place. She almost always is wearing gray skinny jeans. She has a moon and stars necklace that she wears for good luck.
personality: Kacela is shifty, sly, and clever. However, she hides her craftyness through her loud and outgoing personality. Even though she's loud and obnoxious at times, she plays off being the person that you feel you can tell anything to. She uses secrets against people...secrets, that's her thing. Secrets and dreams. She can send dreams to people's minds using her magic, a unique trait in her power. She's very skilled at making traps and weapons, along with devising plans.
godly parent*: willberevealedsoonenough
history: Kace came from a harsh environment. She lived in a small town where really, if you wanted ssomething, you made it yourself. Her parents both died from a rare illness, or so she was told. She was then raised by her cousin, Troy, who became a father to her. He taught her all the tricks she now has up her sleeve, along with guidance through life. The only reason she came to Half Blood Camp was to protect her cousin from the numerous amounts of monsters trying to kill her. She's new to camp.
weapon: Bow and arrow.
power*:

Re: [war of olympus] -'Πόλεμο του oλύμπου.

Post by Guest on Mon Jul 08, 2013 4:00 pm

wow sorry i really like anthony ok idk i just really like the characters that are 'goth' and are outcasts idk shoot me theyre cool hes accepted

name: Kenna Landy

age (12-20): 14

gender: female

looks (picture allowed):
what she looks like:
Kenna wears a belt around her shorts/jeans, that holds a celestial bronze dagger, covered with a maroon sheath, designed by herself, of course. On her back, she has a bow and a quiver. Kenna wears black fingerless gloves on both of her hands, and has goggles hanging around her neck. Not swimming goggles, just goggles that are resistant to heat or poison from monsters.

personality: Kenna's personality is. . well, loud. She can never shut her mouth, and can't be trusted with  a secret to save her life. Kenna will always be the one cracking jokes in the back row, or suddenly bursting into laughter at strange times. She uses silly puns that usually aren't rewarded by laughs, but with groans. Kenna has no idea how to be serious. Nonetheless, she gets frustrated incredibly easily. With the attention span of a fish, she'll start stamping her foot and shouting when trying to read or focus on anything. She can be a bit of a flirt, usually hopelessly flirting with guys. Kenna does this because she assumes that if she flirts shamelessly, nobody will realize how awful she is with guys, if she just keeps people laughing.

godly parent*: Hephaestus.

history:
history bc its long:
As Kenna was growing up, her mother was dissapointed with her. She noticed how unlady-like she was, which was a big slap to the face for a clothing designer. They lived in Ireland with her mother's new husband and their daughter, Isabelle. for almost 10 years, and would of ended up staying there, had it not been for Kenna's little accident. One day, Kenna's mother left her and her younger stepsister, Isabelle, home alone while she went to a fashion show for a few hours.
Kenna was 9 at the time, still obvlivious to her firecontroling powers. Isabelle was sick with a cold, staying in bed the entire time. When Kenna came to check on her, Isabelle complained she was cold and wanted Kenna to put a fire in the fireplace. As Kenna was trying to light the wooden logs, she got frustrated, not quite able to use the lighter. Before she knew it, the lighter was thrown at the ground, and fire was coming out of her fingertips. She started screaming, running around and spinning, trying to roll around to extinguish the flames. Nothing worked. Eventually, the entire house was on fire, Kenna's entire arms enveloped with flames. When the fire department came, all they saw was Kenna leaning over a little girl's body, surrounded by black ash and a few flickering flames.
A little girl's body, who was burnt to a crisp, pure black. Kenna realized that she had killed her stepsister, had burnt her to the point she was unrecognizable. Her mother and stepfather were sobbing for weeks, furious at Kenna. She began screaming at Kenna, telling her it was all because of her no-good, rotten father. She told her it was his fault, that he had left her with a good for nothing daughter who could only destroy with her abilities. They moved to the United States, New York, when she was 10. Kenna was sent away to a boarding school as soon as they unpacked their bags.
Kenna enjoyed the bording school. There was a class where Kenna learned to build basic things. She excelled in math, the numbers coming easily to her. Latin? Easy peasy. Everything else. . not so much. Kenna flunked every class except for Latin, Math, and her Building Class. She was taken to the principals to 'discuss her bad grades', and as it turned out, her principal was a monster in disguise. She narrowly escaped, sprinting right out of the school, through woods, onto the roads. Kenna came barreling right to Camp Halfblood. Kenna had an instinct, something, someone, telling her where to go. A man's rough voice whispering in her ear, guiding her to safety. And then, at 10 years old, Kenna began her stay at Camp Half Blood. She was claimed by Hephesatus that night at the camp fire.
weapon: a celestial bronze dagger, covered with a maroon sheath, that when the handle is tapped by her, turns into a hammer. Designed by herself, of course. Kenna usually doesn't use the dagger for fighting, she just complained that her hammer was too heavy to carry around, so she designed a new dagger. It makes a decent back-up weapon if she needs to use close-combat fighting.
On her back, she has a bow and a quiver. The bow was given to her by her father, as a gift. It responds only to her touch, otherwise the bowstring refuses to draw itself back. It gives a slight purr or hum whenever held by her. The feathers and tip are like flames, and it seems as though the arrows on fire when they are being shot. The arrows were enchanted to never run out, and the quiver instantly refills itself when Kenna runs out. In the mortal world, her bow and arrows appear as a necklace. The necklace holds a key on it, a simple one with painted flames. If she is walking around in the mortal world, she'll simply rip the necklace off, and with her touch, it will turn into a useable bow.

power*: Kenna is able to control and create fire, a rare gift of Hepheastus' kids. Her body is somewhat fireproof, but she still finds herself wearing gloves to cover the burn marks on her hands, and goggles to prevent any burning near her face. She rarely uses her abilities, and keeps it to herself. The camp director knows of her talent, but the campers do not. Kenna doesn't want to be looked at as even more 'different' than she is by being a demigod. The only time she truly uses the fire is when she's alone, working on inventions.

---
Well, in the books, everyone was basically the same age. I guess it'd be better if they were all the same age, since if some were 14, and others were 18, they'd have trouble getting along... idk. xD
I'm gonna make a boy character later. So yeah o:<

What should our first post be...? Just the character arriving at camp? Either for the first time or returning.

Kenna Landy}
I'd sing along, wouldn't you too?

Considering I'm a teenager, I guess you'd expect that I hate school? Yeah, you'd be wrong. I flipping despise it. Why? Because,
A- I'm a teenager.
B- I'm a demigod.
C- I'm ADHD and Dyslexic.
Those three things sure can put a damper on my school spirit. So when the bell rang, telling us that school was over for the year, it's an understatement to say that I was happy. I was ecstatic.
Heck, I practically sprinted to my locker, grabbed the purple duffel bag full of the things I'd need for cramp, and out the door.
Once I whistled for a cab, and, well, pushed a little kid and her family out of the way so I could get in it, I was just a half hour from camp.
And then I arrived.
I was expecting just the usual day at Camp. The climbing wall would be shooting lava, a group of kids would be practicing archery while another was in the sword arena, the nymphs would be running from satyrs. Just a regular ol' day for us demigods at Camp Half Blood.
Boy, was I wrong.
The Hermes cabin was up in flames---literally. Some girls from Ares were standing by watching and laughing, and then a dozen arrows with purple, blue, and red feathers landed just in front of them, causing a green cloud of smoke to cover the girls. One of them shrieked, "No fair! Fart arrows aren't fair, you little idiots!", before drawing her sword and rushing towards the Apollo campers, who were perched upon the Demeter cabin with their bows.
Kids from the Aphrodite cabin were running around shrieking, trying to cover their faces with their hands. "Someone replaced the foundation with some sort of poison powder!" One sobbed. When a guy from Hermes tried to move closer to take a look, she began sobbing again, "Don't look at me!", before running off to join her sisters, who were dunking their heads in the lake.
"Another summer at Camp Half Blood." I sighed, jogging towards Cabin Nine---the Hephaestus cabin.

name: Rin

age (12-20): 14
gender: female
looks (picture allowed): short black hair and intimidating blue eyes. Short and a thin build. Always wearing a grey wife beater with her father's dark green Army jacket and jeans with red converse. Very pale skin and a constant scowl on her face.

personality: She is Distant and quiet, very intimidating. Finds it hard to communicate with others and is rarely seen around people. Violent and short tempered at times. She is relatively smart and a skilled fighter. Her major flaw is the way she reacts around people, she tends to scare other people off, because of this she never tries to make connections. But when she does its like a whole new person. She becomes increasingly outgoing and all around friendly. She also blushes alot.

godly parent*: Athena.

history: Athena left her with her father at a very young age, so naturally so has no memories of her. She grew up on a military base, because of this her skills at hand to hand combat are impressive. She had a strict upbringing and often hides her emotions. She gets along with boys better then girls and often considers herself one of them. When she was about 12 she was forced to go to Camp Half-blood in order to protect those around her.

weapon: A one-handed bronze sword that has flames carved into it and a chain hanging of the end. At contact the sword can not only cut but cause searing pain, as if the victim is burning alive. If for some reason she can't use her sword, she relies on hand to hand combat.

power*: She has an unusual amount of energy. She uses this to focus all of her energy into extremely powerful attacks. But there is a limit to her energy so she has to conserve it wisely.

Uhg okay sorry if this is sucky.

Anthony
-I scowled at the stone I had been kicking on my little walk. I gave it one last, hard kick when I got to the top of Half-Blood Hill. I sighed. I had no thrive to enter Camp-Half Blood once again, like I did when I first found it. All this place had done for me was cause trouble.
Trouble with monsters...just a few minutes ago I had to fight off an ambush of hellhounds. Trouble with family...why would my family accept a demi-god into their family, when all my mom cared about was having smart children, and all my step-dad cared about was my mom. Trouble with...my friends. Mainly this girl I hadn't seen for years. We had been best friends for a long time and...I've said too much.
A long time ago, I made a promise that I'd never think or say her name again, and that I'd try to think of her little to not at all.
I shook the thoughts out of my head and walked into camp. Suddenly all the joy and fun going on around me stopped, and everyone stared in horror. That's right. The Hades kid had come back. Or as most people called me...the Kid of Death. I didn't care. I hated people. I glared at them with a smirk on my face, hoping that I brought fear to their eyes.
I don't know why they always think that I'll leave. I'm one who stays all year round as, being a child of the big three, my powers are too strong and basically shoot out strong signals to all the monsters that would love to kill me. The only time I do leave camp is to take walks, and even that's rare. I only leave on the day that all the campers come back from school, so I can skip all the hello's and how've you been's...not like I would say that anyway, but I hate to be around all that...happiness. It makes me utterly sick.
Being at camp all year, I sometimes try to teach myself the things I'd learn in school. That's really hard with ADHD and dyslexia though...almost even harder than being in a normal classroom. At one point I was home-schooled, but my step-dad quickly diminished that idea of my mother's...saying they needed more 'them' time?? In my eyes, the less time my mom spends with that guy, the better.
Like I care about them though. They threw me out. Disowned me. I'm now a parentless child. Free. I thought, as I got into my cabin, ignoring all the commotion and partying by the other cabins.
Ah, home sweet home. Being the only Hades child, as of the moment, I was free to decorate my cabin however I pleased. The walls were pitch black, great for shadow travel practicing. There were a few dim lights in the room. Monster graphics and posters hung up everywhere, all designed by me. Sure, it was disgusting to the cabin inspector's eyes, but I didn't care.
I lied down on my bed and closed my eyes, brushing my dark hair out of my eyes.
As I lied there, a thought occurred to me. It had been a long time since we'd had a quest...maybe...
My mind shut that thought out more quickly than it had came to me.
Since when did anyone want a Hades kid on their quest?

Kenna Landy;;
I'd sing along, wouldn't you too?

"I'm really sorry, guys. ." I stared at the ground, holding my hands behind my back as I rubbed my arm. Over my time at school, I was supposed to have been working on the blueprints for a chariot for the Apollo cabin. It was for the chariot races we hold, but let's just say I got a bit sidetracked.

"Sorry? Kenna, you promised! How much time could it possibly take to design a freaking chariot?" The leader of the Cabin, a girl with blonde hair and blue eyes, glared at her other cabin mates. "[/b]See, I told you we should of asked someone else! Now the Ares cabin is gonna cream us."

I chewed on my bottom lip, trying not to beat myself up over it. "If it's that easy, why don't you do it?"

"'Cos you're supposed to be some great inventor!" She stomped her foot angrily, turning towards a boy with light brown hair and green eyes, "I shouldn't of listened to you. This girls a joke."

They all walked off back into the chaos of camp, murmuring things like, "Daughter of Hephaestus my butt. More like a useless daughter of Hermes." "Now what do we do?" "Could always steal theirs or somethin'."

I glanced at the Hades cabin, a pitch black one with green Greek fire on either side of the doorway. We'd been talking here, since nobody seemed to bother with whoever lived in there. If anyone lived in there, that is.

I wasn't really sure if Hades had any kids. They'd probably just be all dark and gloomy anyway. But you know, still. I never quite payed any attention to any other tables at dinner or breakfast, mainly just talked to my half siblings.

As I walked away from the dark cabin, towards the forge, I made a silent promise to myself to pay attention towards other tables.

Kacela
-"Okay, okay! Knock it off!" I laughed with my friends. Man, I was really gonna miss them. Todd with his jokes...Jenna with her advice...Mason and his stories...and Rachael with her hugs and nervous, but sweet, smile. I couldn't believe the one thing that we always knew would split up the quintet finally came...Highschool. After this summer was over, highschool would come, and we'd all go separate ways.

Little did I know, I'd go a little more separate than any of my friends.

As the bell rang, and my friends and I split up, the real me caught up with me. Yeah, I can be myself in front of my friends. But on the last day of school, everyone seems all happy and crap. Not that I'm a downer...but it's not like we're three and it's Christmas morning, people. This is just the end of one more school year, followed by one more summer, and then just another start to yet another school year. This crummy school system is a hamster wheel, and we're the stupid hamsters fooled into running it over and over and over.
I know almost every normal kid hates school, but see, I hate it because I'm not normal. I've got learning disabilities galore and a brain that is capable of thinking of thirty different things at once. Only...not school.

"Kacy! Wait up!" I heard Rachael's voice call out to me. I didn't turn around to greet her. We know each other too good for that. I love it how...when you get to know someone so much, you simply forget the simple things, because you're so...close. It's hard to explain. Rachael walked beside me and handed me a book. "Here...you forgot your notes." She smiled.
My eyes widened. This must've fallen out of my backpack, because I would never forget my notes. Well...calling them my notes is a teeny lie. They're actually stories. Stories about my dreams. Yeah, I bring my dreams to life on paper. Pretty lame, huh?
No seriously though. My dreams are extraordinary...like, I'll do some crazy things in them. Some things that are so cra-
My thoughts halted. I looked behind me, and saw that Rachael had stopped walking. She was staring at the sky. I followed her gaze to see these vultures flying downwards. "Rachael!" I called, "It's okay, they're just vultures!" I chuckled a bit, then took a second glance. Wow. Now that I got a closer look, those vultures were pretty big to be vultures. Forget vultures, they were too big to be animals. Try a Pterodactyl maybe?
Rachael ran up next to me and whispered, "Not vultures...Harpies!" She grabbed my hand and made a slow start to the nearby trees. "Harpies?" I tried to stifle my laugh. "Don't you mean..." I was about to crack a joke when I felt something grab the back of my shirt. I turned around and saw an ugly - really ugly - woman's face staring back at me. Worst of all? That face was attached to the vulture mutant.
This surprised me, but I remembered what my cousin told me, if you ever got caught under a bears claw. I punched just above the woman/vulture thing's leg, and she screeched in pain. It's a pretty sensitive spot. Rachael, who I thought had run ahead, turned around and totally donkey kicked that thing with her goat feet.
...wait. What? I took a second look and got sick to my stomach. My best friend had goat feet.
Though it probably would've been nice to have time to process this, that Harpy pack was getting closer and closer. By then, I knew that if I didn't run, I'd get caught again. Though I could probably get out, they'd ambush me, and I'd have no chance.
I whisked through the trees, feeling Rachael's presence right by my side. I wanted to think so many things now, but I knew that concentrating on getting away was the only thing I should think right now.
--
We ran for what seemed like hours, when finally, I thought we were safe. I was just about to turn around when I felt another thing pick me up. I turned, not knowing if I had enough energy to do this. Only to face Rachael, my now half goat best friend, on a horse...with wings.
"What is this?" I asked without hesitation, as she placed me behind her on the horse's back. "He..." She corrected me, "is Nightmare. He's a good friend of mine back at Camp Half Blood." "Camp what now?" She sighed, and for the first time...this normally nervous wreck, this sensitive and insecure girl, who always came to me for help, now seemed wiser, stronger, and more supreme than I. "I really should've told you sooner...I mean two years?! What good of a satyr am I?!?!"
I felt like pinching myself, trying to wake up from this stupid dream. hey, I had every right to think of it as a dream. My dream's are just as weird. "Satyr? Like from Greek Mythology?" One of my most favorite subjects. "How could you possibly be a satyr?"
She sighed again and said, "You'll have a lot to learn."

Ariana Bloom}
you're searching so hard you lost yourself.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever!" I called over my shoulder, along with a middle finger. I began running from the football field in a fit of laughter before any of the boys could catch up to me.

According to James, captain of the football team, it was cheating to scratch someone, but come on. They're bigger than me, it's only fair!

I quickly opened my locker in the locker room, snatching my black backpack and swinging it onto my shoulder. Just before I was walking out, I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror.

I've never really been one to care about my looks, but I couldn't help myself.. I began to study myself.

With wavy brown hair and dark blue eyes, I can't help but be displeased. Everyday I look at the other girls with perfect blonde hair - not a hair out of place - and crystal blue eyes with long, dark eyelashes.

I'll never even compare. I always smell like grapes, no matter how much I freaking try to scrub it off. My hair is never smooth and shiny. My eyes never twinkle and sparkle. I don't have a perfect tan. My legs are way too long.

And who do I have to thank for all my imperfections? My dad, Dionysus. Yeah, my dad's the God of wine. My mom was a total alcoholoic. They met at a party. Both were drunk. God of wine knocked my mom up. Mom found out she had me. Didn't have the heart to 'abort mission'. I was born. Then I ran away. Now I'm in foster care.

As you can tell, my life story is so incredibly fascinating. Please, try to contain your excitement.

~
(at camp bc im a lazy idiot)

Camp Half Blood is in total chaos. And when I say chaos, I mean the whole freakin' deal.

Some cabins are in flames. Some are covered in toilet paper. Archers are shooting at campers holding swords.

Welcome to camp, Ariana. Welcome to camp.

Anthony

-I looked up from my drawing, at the clock. "Ugh." I muttered. It was almost dinner time. I grabbed my notepad and pencil and started walking up to the dinner area. I stared down anyone who tried to smile at me. I even growled at some 12 year old. I chuckled, walking to my table, waiting for dinner to start.

Kacela
-"Wow..." I whispered, after leaving the little meeting with the head camp instructors, who told me everything. Along with my satyr...yes, satyr friend, Rachael. "Yep..." She said. "So...I have...powers?" Rachael thought a bit before she answered, and then slowly said, "Well...yes. But, you won't really find those until your godly parent claims you. It's kinda complicated." "Not at all!" I said cheerily.
Rachael looked at me queerly, about to ask a question, but then stopped herself. She glanced at her watch and said, "Ah! Dinner time! Yes! Now, you'll get to meet some new campers! We can go around to all the tables and introduce you." "No, no...that's okay. I can do without the whole Show and Tell thing, if you know what I mean. I wanna make friends naturally."
"Oh, so in school when you're new, the teacher doesn't hold you up in front of the class and introduce you...?" She inquired this mostly rhetorical question. I shook my head slowly and said, "...Yeah...that only happens in movies..."
She threw her hands up and said, "Fine! Do whatever you want. Gosh, it's no fun being a satyr when I can't show off that I actually brought someone home." We shared a glance and then both busted out laughing.
I think I'm going to like this place.
I was wrong.

Kenna Landy;
I'd sing along, wouldn't you too?

"Watch out!" I screeched, running towards the dining pavilion. One of my sisters had made a faulty automaton, and it was now running, completely haywire, around Camp.

A few Aphrodite girls screamed and jumped onto their tables, throwing their lipsticks down at the machine. "Don't break it, you airheads!" I called over my shoulder, glaring at them.

As it approached a table where only one boy, dressed in all black, I dived at it. I slid on my stomach for a few seconds before slamming my hands down on it, turning it off.

"'Well, wasn't that fun!?" I grinned wildly, standing up and straightening the goggles around my neck.

I brushed the dirt off my clothes, cracking my knuckles. "Ah, sorry about the uh. ." I examined the boy, mashed potatoes, turkey, and other foods stuck to his face, thanks to the machine.

Biting my tongue to make sure I didn't start smiling, I said, "D-Damage?" A glob of potatoes dripped onto the table and that did it for me.

I began laughing hysterically, well aware that the entire cabin was watching. "You.. You have.. A little somethin' on there." I waved my hands all around his face, "And by that I mean everywhere."
