And you found him.
Now the glances and butterflies,
Have only started to begin.

You try to ignore him,
But his smiles got you caught.
You believe you are free,
To later find that you're not.

You've started flirting,
And so has he.
You just let your guard down,
On your broken heart to be.

You twirl your pretty hair,
Like its nothing to you.
Cause you got no idea,
What he is gonna do.

You begin to relax,
And through the daydreams you find.
This silly little crush,
Has taken your mind.

The heartbeats begin racing,
And so does the clock.
Before its too late,
Seal your heart with a lock.

But you can't and you won't,
Cause you're too darn 'in love'.
As the warm fuzzy feeling,
Becomes a hot stove.

Feelings tangle,
And word gets out.
Just wait for the tears,
The heavy water spout.

Go on, who's stopping you?
It's nothing too big.
After all, you and he?
You're only just kids.

But this little bitty crush,
Has put your heart in a sling.
To you it was love,
To him - a fling.

Yet you keep on going,
Fooled by blind hope.
Once you 'try on' his last name,
There's really no hope.

So go along wishing,
That he'd never forget.
You're only hurting yourself,
In this terrible fit.

You know its all over,
And collapse in your room.
And the tears just start coming,
But do not seal your doom.

When will you get it?
You idiotic moron?!
You always knew he would leave you,
But you let him, come on!

Now see him every day,
And even night in your dreams.
He doesn't care,
You only plucked his heartstrings.

Alone, that you are.
And alone you will be.
Maybe for now,
But not eternity.

Stumble upon others,
And stumble you might.
This is not your last day,
And neither your last night.

You begin to forget,
But remember him so.
He represents a mistake,
Made many years ago.

Because today is a new day,
So seize it, my dear.
But don't get too cocky,
And upset your worst fear.

A poem doesn't need a point, really, it just needs a subject. I guess this subject is to say to young girls dating "Don't get your hopes up." Not really relating to me at all, it's just a nice poem I guess.
