Dentist? *shudders* >_<

Kay, so, this past Thursday I went to the dentists, and let me just come straight out and say: I've had tons of bad luck at the dentists.
When I was like five or six, maybe even four, I was playing the piano and dancing around to the 'music' I was making. xD Well my tooth hit the wooden part of the piano, and it actually killed the root. So basically that means, the whole tooth was completely dead. So actually I ended up needing a root canal and the tooth pulled out for that, and now that I think about it, that was when we still lived at our apartment instead of the house, so I must've been two or three. >.<
So several years later when I was about nine or ten, we went to the dentist's and they said my teeth were coming in all wrong, due to that gap I had from my pulled out tooth. I think the canines were actually switching around with the incisors, and my adult tooth incisors had come in through the top of the gums, which basically just jacked up my entire mouth. :c
So I remember...I think I had to get four teeth pulled? But one of them didn't come out the way the dentist's planned. One, the bottom had broken off and was still deep inside the gum, so I remember they dug around IN MY GUMS with their pointy tools, and finally they pulled the chunk of tooth out. >_O
A year later I got braces on my top front four teeth. They hurt like the dickens, but I mean, it was worth it. xD IT WAS SO COOL CHANGING THE COLORS N EVERYTHING!!! @_@ I miss my braces. xD But, there were bad parts too. The dentist's said no soda, no hard vegetables, no bubblegum, no hard candy, no soft candy (so basically no candy xD), and a bunch of other crap. Well guess what I did? With the list of foods he gave me that I couldn't eat, I used that as a checklist and attempted to eat them all in a way it wouldn't damage my braces. I actually got through all of them. xD Anyway, way off topic, so after my braces got off, I lived life happily ever after...
...until like four years later when I just went to the dentist this past Thursday. So, I started with x-rays of course, and MAN! I think they could design those things to KILL people just from the pain. I mean, the lady said to 'bite down' on the plastic thingys, which I'm not even sure they clean thoroughly after someone uses it, and it felt like someone was literally stabbing my mouth with like ten billion swords. xD Seriously, I have like...one, two, three,,seven, nine...Like eleven sores in my mouth just from x-rays. xD
THEN...when the dentist came in, he looked in my mouth and I was all, "Mi TOOTHSTA!" Cuz I had just had them polished. xD But then he said, "Uh oh..." And I was like, "What?!?" He said, "Mom, there's a hole in this tooth." And my whole life flashed before my eyes. I would have to face...*dun dun DUNNN!*...THE DRILL!
So my whole life I've always thought the drill was an actual, huge, drill like construction workers use. Well it's not. It's a little tiny drill that easy fits in your mouth. BUT GET THIS! The doctor said since it was such a small cavity I wouldn't need the shot. Well no, no, no Mr whatever your super long dentist name is! I've LEARNED my lesson of not having shots. So I pinched my leg when he drilled the cavity out, because when I was getting stitches a couple months ago (yeah, what a wonderful life I have, huh? xD) the doctor said the brain can only respond to one blahblahblah scientific name for something that hurts at one time. So he told me to pinch my leg while the doctor was doing stuff to my wound.
So I did that while he was drilling, and it didn't hurt until the very last second. Then, OHMYGAWD I COULD'VE SCREAMED BLOODY MURDER IT HURT SO BAD!!! Then he started filling the cavity and I was all, "Find your happy place, find your happy place." Which of course, didn't help. xD Finally it was over annddd yeah. That's it for this dentist trip. I'll be looking forward to another one in six months. c':
I just feel super bad for my brother, because he needs braces all around his teeth...top and bottom. And I know that that makes your mouth kinda puffy all around. xD Ah well, good luck bro. c':

So...after this whole long rant I ask the question: what are your dentist experiences? :3 xD

Awh you have a painful life xD. To be honest, not a lot of 'painful' stuff has happened to me at all..
BUT;
When I was 8,I had 4 cavities. They didn't hurt because I got this gas tank thingy instead of the shot and I was really loopy.
This year, I got braces on top and bottom ( same day). ehmagod, they didn't hurt AT ALL xD.
I'm just terrified ot get my wisdom teeth removed in a few years o':

Ouch...FOUR?!?! O_O I could barely make it through one. xD
Ooh how you mentioned the gas tank, that reminded me, earlier this year I got my frenulum thingy removed. You know that thing in the front of your mouth that just attaches your lip to your front gums? Well mine was too big or something and they had to laser it off. I had to be gassed too, and that was like the best sleep of my life. I was sleeping, but I was still awake. @_@ Awesome!!! xD But the whole time I just kept thinking of when the stuff they cut off would fall onto my neck or something. >_< eugghghg.
Yeah, when I got x-rays the dentist nurse lady said she saw my wisdom teeth coming in on the x-rays. I was like, "*eye twitch, twitch twitch* Wha-did...wha-what did you...just say??!" xD *sigh* Looks like I have a great couple more years to look forward to, huh? xD
