Maplestory

I wasn't sure where to put this, so um, don't yell at me xD

I was on another Roleplaying site and somebody mentioned Maplestory. I knew what it was as I had played it twice, but quit after I realized that people despised you unless you had Cash items, a high Level, and lots of fame xD But this person assured me that it's changed now and it's a lot of fun.. All I can remember was getting frustrated that I couldn't get to a high level xD
But um; do any of you guys play Maplestory?? If so, should I give it a try?
-I know some people here have avatars with them, but I'm not sure if they just use Bannedstory and don't play the game at all-

Me and Jen play Maplestory. Just not like, the actual real game, we play something called a Private Server which makes everything somewhat easier and you don't have to pay for cash items and stuff. !

As Kristy stated; I do have an character on GMS we both do.
We both play in Broa, on the Global Maplestory (the real game, GMS is just short ). I play Extalia; it's an private server which means it's not the actual game.

What do you do in Maplestory? I've heard of it before, but never actually played it. Is it fun? :]

It is pretty fun, but there are rude and mean people on there. You just have to stick with the weird people and you'll be fine. xD
You basically level up, pick an class, fight monsters, do quests, and hang out with your friends ^w^.

ahh...maplestory. the good ol' days. haha i used to play a little cuz my friends kept telling me to too like you. i also played private server for a while. theennn i just couldn't get into it. i played around the time that mp was super popular. maybe i should play again?

yeah, i've played before. kinda got lazy and bored of it though. i might try again someday.

Haha, yeah, I started playing a while ago. I've been having a lot of trouble..People keep harassing me as I can't buy anything because I'm against paying money for an online game xD. And it's kinda hard leveling up; I've gotten pretty high-up, now it's just getting really frustrating seeing the higher-levels zooming through while I'm just screaming 'DIE!! DIE YOU HORRIBLE LITTLE MONSTERS.' c': I might give that Private Server a try; but I can't even find the download link -.-

Shall I PM you a link that has a ton of maplestory private servers?
